Experimental Cookies

Tonight I felt the need to make cookies, but I wanted to try something new. Something that involved....pudding. The only instant pudding I could find in the cupboard was white chocolate, so I googled "cookies made with white chocolate pudding" and found this delightful recipe.

Of course, as baking goes, I realized at the last minute that I didn't have 2 cups of butter in the fridge. In fact, the only butter I could find was a small chunk in the side door and another chunk that had been previously melted and then put back in the fridge. I decided that all the butter I could find was about 1/2 cup, so I divided the recipe into fourths. All of the measurements came out very strange, such as 9/8ths cup flour, and 1.7 oz pudding mix. Also, I didn't have any chocolate chips, but I conveniently found some IKEA chocolate sitting in the fridge door! Broken up pieces of IKEA chocolate is the equivalent to chocolate chips, in my opinion.

Did they turn out? That depends. Are you a fan of delicious flavor? (Psych quote ftw!) Well, they didn't turn out very pretty, but the white chocolate pudding gave them an absolutely delicious flavor!

Moral of the story: pudding is the key to cookie success.

Welcome to Mystery

When I first heard the beginning of this song, I thought it was a song from the seventies.
